For more than a quarter of a century, cyclists of all ages, professions, physical ability, from all walks of life, have joined together to participate in the BikeMS City to Shore (C2S) Bike Tour sponsored by the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS). More than a bike ride, the C2S is a moving celebration. Funds raised over the course of these past 29 years have allowed the NMSS to fund research resulting in the identification of new treatment options for MS sufferers along with programming and other support for MS clients right here in our local area. We're not done our work, however, not until a cure is found.
The 30th annual BikeMS City to Shore Tour will be held on September 25 & 26, 2010. The traditional route travels 75 miles each way, but there are shorter and longer options available, with riders greeted at the finish lines by cheering, grateful NMSS clients. All riders are invited to participate in after-cycling events in the evening on Saturday, and at Sunday's finish line music, celebration, food and fun abound. The C2S Bike Tour is universally regarded as the finest bike tour of its kind, drawing veteran and rookie participants from all over the globe.
